The River
On a moonless night in August when the sea trout are ready to run, a man brings his new girlfriend to the remote family cabin where he has come for fly-fishing since he was a boy. But she's not the only woman he has brought here – or indeed the last.
Things quickly take on a haunting and mysterious tone as questions of what is real and what is not arise. An eerie thriller, wrapped in poetry and mystery by one of the greatest playwrights of our age.
Double Sure Theatre Co-Op, in partnership with the O'Brien Farm Foundation, are proud to present The River by Jez Butterworth. Directed by Jeannette Lambermont-Morey and featuring Marie Jones, Patrick Foran, and Michaela Sheldon, audiences will be swept away by this stunning tale of love, trust, and desire.
